I have an MA in Education from OISE and a TESL Certificate from the Canadian Cooperation for Language and Cultural Studies. I have been teaching English as a Second Language since 1998. My experience teaching ESL learners includes private schools, LINC classes, universities, and colleges. I have taught Adult ESL classes, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), Academic Prep (EAP), and ESL classes for children in Canada, France, and Switzerland. I have also an extensive experience in teacher training. I have trained English as a Second Language teachers from such institutions as the Canadian Cooperation for Language and Cultural Studies, Humber College, and The York Catholic District School Board as well as led intensive weekend courses in TEFL. Outside of teaching, my background is in the theatre arts, and I am a published writer.
